Oh, what I would give for just one more day.
One more day to wave hello to friends (and strangers) on the way to class
One more day to sit in the booths in the tween enjoying a Charlie Brown
One more day to freak out in the basement of Boler
One more day to stumble back from Warrensville
One more day to sit in the caf and people watch
One more day to stop and “chat” with friends at the rec desk
One more day to give a tour and walk backward across campus
One more day to sing “Gloria” at 9pm mass
One more day to visit the Office of Student Engagement
One more day to lay on the quad around the flagpole
One more day to snap a late night picture of the clock tower
One more day to laugh with my sisters in the Chi O lounge
One more day to dip my toes in the fountain
One more day to tear up the dance floor at B Side
One more day to run errands for the Dean of Students Office
One more day to rock an O-Staff polo and khaki pants
One more day to shout across campus to friends
One more day to sit on the ground of Murphy Chapel
One more day to hear Dr. Welki end our conversation with, “Stay well.”
Oh what I would give for just one more day.
